Headless Halloween/Gossebumps

This book is about a bunch of kids named Maya, Braden, Vinnie and Cal. It's the night of Halloween and Braden has to babysit for 2 kids named Ray and Jennifer who live across the road. Braden was so frustrated because he wanted to go Trick or Treating. Braden has a hobby of scaring people so what did he do to poor old Ray and Jennifer? He scared them with a scary story about the headless person. Then when Ray, Jennifer and his Mum and Dad came back Braden had a idea for a Halloween costume. Later on when he rang his friend Cal, he told him about how scared Ray and Jennifer had been and about what costume he was wearing that night. A bit later Cal and Braden meet and both were wearing their costumes. When they had picked up their cousin Vinnie they went trick or treating. When they were trick or treating they stole candy from little kids and ate it all. Then Braden got an idea. It was to go into the meanest teacher's house. All the kids at the school don't call him by his real name. They call him the mountain because he is so so tall. When they arrived at the Mountain's house he was just leaving to go out somewhere. Just outside the Mountain's house is a ravine. Lots of kids have been dared to jump over it but they haven't made it across. At the bottom are spiky rocks where all the kids land. Well not land but fall. Braden wanted to try to jump it. He made it, well he thought he did. He did but when he got up and had a look around he saw something or someone. When he got a bit closer he saw the thing he saw was someone and not something and that someone had the same mask as Braden and then he remember something the man that sold him the mask said that it is the only type of mask in the world.

Then he saw that he was in a room. It was a room with lots of people dressed up. He did not know them but then when they got to game time Braden wanted to join in and so they let him. The first game was get the apples only with your mouth but it wasn't apples, it was get the worms with your mouth. They tried to drown Braden and there were more games .

He wanted to go back to his normal self so the people he saw said, "We will let you go but we will only let you go if you help a number of people''
